Negotiating commission in MediSpa

I am in the planning/development stages of my spray tanning business. I have a meeting set up tomorrow with a medi spa owner who currently offers spray tanning but is not marketing to it's potential. She only does a few a week. She offered me the opportunity to spray for her, using her equipment and solution , no contracts as long as I can bring in the business. I'm worried about the balance of power.
She charges $35. Is it unreasonable for me to expect to set my own prices and packages?

Am I sleeping with the enemy or is this a great way to break into the business, receive hands on training and grow my client list? I am not looking at this as permanant situation, more like a platform. If/when the relationship is terminated, are the clients likely to follow me to my own store front?

I have already decided on the VIP starter kit from Norvell. Attended certification course in KC last month and loved the product.
Would you recommend me using my own equipment and solution with a lower commission paid to her or vise versa? I plan on doing mobile work as well so I will purchase the equipment no matter what. I would prefer to use my own but not sure she would.
What is a typical commission split for either of those situations (using her equip. or mine)?

Is it unreasonable for me to expect to book my own appt's in her spa? I want the flexability to do mobile and also have a location for clients to come to but I want to control my own schedule.

If I've skipped any major points please let me know. Thank you for your input.

Re: Negotiating commission in MediSpa

No one has ever done a commission split with a spa?
