Rep Power: 0 | Salon owner concerned about fumes & overspray I am interested in working in a Salon. The owner of the salon has been told that the fumes and overspray will ruin the entire salon. I need advice on people working in a salon. Do you have issues with fumes or overspray getting into entire salon? What do you do to prevent this from happening? We havent built anything yet, so what can we do to prevent problems with spray tanning ? All advice really appreciated! |

We have one extraction fan and don't have much overspray past the immediate tanning area. We wet swiffer the floors in the rest of that room cause of some sticky over spray but the fan really helps keep that to a minimum. I would definitely keep your tanning area closed off from the rest of the salon. |

The walls do not go all the way to the ceiling though. I can sometimes see where the overspray travels. It's not bad, but I know it. |
