Need a Deep Brown that Fades Evenly
 

I am currently using Norvell Double Dark. Sometimes this color is not even dark enough so I purchased Pro-Tan 12% DHA Grade Called "Incredibly Black" The color looks super dark and good but.. give it a few days and you look like you have a skin disease even if you have been using the best parabin free-super moisturizing after care products.

Does this happen for all high grade DHA Solutions or does someone know of a deep dark brown high DHA that fades good?

you shouldn't be using double dark, that is way too dark!!!! you should be using dark w/ bronzer....

thats y they look like they have a skin disease...

First a parabin free moisturizer has nothing to due with fading. Parabens only help shelf life. And 12% can be too much DHA for alot of people's skin and will fade poorly.

I don't have any issue with using 12% DHA on people who's skin under normal sun gets a nice tan, no burning. In the winter they want an airbrush tan to look the same as summer. I use Jamaica Me Tan Montego Bay, which is 12% DHA & I have also used the Ocho Rios 10% & added DHA drops to make it darker.

One thing I have noticed is if a client hasn't exfoliated well the tan does not last as well as when they prepare their skin according to directions :-) Good Luck, hope you find a product that gives the result you are looking for :-)

I agree with NatalieEllen. I use Jamaica Me Tan as well. The pre and post tan care makes the biggest difference in fading and longevity.

I too have been using Norvell double dark and have been looking everywhere for something darker. I tried Sjolie 14% and it too was not as dark as the double dark. I have several clients who want to be darker then the double dark too - so i have been looking into competition colors, but i dont want to be THAT dark. I am wondering if the booster drops make a big difference or maybe i should try ProTan?

Hi... I just wanted to thank y'll in this community for all your quality imput. I've noticed that the threads around here aren't as active as they used to be. I thought I'd post to see if people still hang around here.

I too am looking for a dark deep brown tan. I'm talking like you'd get if you were in Brazil sun. Has anyone found a solution like this yet? I live in Southern California where a lot of people are already dark. Thanks in advance :icon_smile:

@3DAirbrushTan What booster are you upselling that is supposed to extend your tan? Never heard of anything like that.

Vani-T's 12% is nice for people who generally tan well anyway. It's just super expensive, but Vani-T is great stuff. Most of my clients have heard of Norvell so they like that I offer it, but I sprayed a client with doube dark tonight and she was hoping to be darker. So I'm thinking about either drops or going back to Vani-T for the 12% and increasing my cost for the darker color. Do you think people would go for that?
