Fast drying

I wanted to please get some insight . I like Sjolie and really leaning fowared using it but just thought of something . Starting off I will be doing this in addition to my full time job . So I will bs spraying clients on nights after 6pm or weekends . I am hesitant about the solution only because I figure that People will prob be going to bed 2-3 hours after I spray them during the week . I dont know if they will be dry enough and comfortable enough.
The 2nd (bigger concern ) is that as much as I Like the end result of the Sjolie I'm not crazy on how I look while it's developing. and if I'm spraying people on weekends 9 out of 10 times they will prob be going out and doing things without having to shower . I Want to have something that looks great while it develops.
I Can plan to use it on me around my schedule when I will be home doing nothing but that might not work since my clients (for now) Will be sprayed at limited times.
suggestions for maybe a rapid dry product ?

Re: Fast drying

I just bought solution from body bronze . It looks great while developing. It dries pretty quick also but what I do to help that is powder them after I spray them. I did this the other day to a couple of girls that went home to get dressed to go out directly after. It works & doesn't keep you feeling sticky or smelly. Great color too.

Re: Fast drying

Sjolie actually just re-did their solutions to make them faster drying. Per Mike @ Sjolie.

Also, I currently have a tanning studio and I also still work full time. I only tan my clients 5-8 and on weekends. Most clients (here anyways) prefer night time tans so they can go to bed and not have to worry about messing up their tans by running around all day.
They are only sticky for a very short period of time, after a couple of hours they aren't sticky at all. I dont suggest my clients put a bra on after or deoderants which makes it easier when they tan at night and they can go home & relax and not worry about it.

I also powder each client which helps with the stickyness and with the rubbing on clothes, sheets, etc.

Re: Fast drying

When I started my mobile business I was working full time and tanning nights/weekends only. Most of my clients (and myself) prefer to be tanning in the evening and sleep on the tan that night. You can use baby powder or even a light shimmer powder to help with the stickiness. I rarely use powder on my clients and instruct them that the first hour they may feel "tacky" but that should go away. When using my mobile unit, I also disconnect the spray gun and dry my clients front and back with the air hose. This helps the solution set faster.

I think you will find that your clients are fine to sleep on their tan before showering. Usually as long as the smell is minimum (I've tried Sjolie and I don't think the smell is over powering) clients will be fine to go to bed and shower in the morning.

Re: Fast drying

I had the same issue with Sjolie. When my tan started to develop, it changed the color of the bronzer and it just didn't look natural. My biggest problem with Sjolie and other solutions is that they feel sticky for at least an hour to 2 hours afterward and my clients didn't like it at all. I would be interested in trying their new formula that dries faste. The only solution that I have found where I feel dry within 10 minutes is South Seas. I keep trying new solutions but it keeps coming out as #1 for color and for how quickly it dries. Everyone is different though, so keep trying out different solutions. I hope you find something that works for you and your clients.
