But, if I had a studio, I would use a fan. If I see overspray in a shower or on the floor, I clean it up before I leave. I have been curious about using a fan, doing mobile tans. Good Lord, how much more stuff can I show up with at their door? LOL |

Rep Power: 14 | Re: Extraction Fans for Mobile Spray Tans? I have a back drop that has 3 fans with washable filters. Even with that, my salon has overspray. I cant imagine not using one. You may not see it, but the overspray is there. I just washed a shelf in on the other side of my salon yesterday, didnt look like it had overspray on it, but it did! |

Rep Power: 14 | Re: Extraction Fans for Mobile Spray Tans? When I first started out I used it with every client as it was included in my start-up kit. I don't use it anymore unless I have multiple tans in the same location usually 3-4 or more depending. Once I stopped hauling it around to clients homes it was such a relief for single appointments. It was really bulky and I already have a lot to carry. Plus when I cleaned the fan it was disturbing how much solution was on the filter and the fan itself. By NOT using the fan I know the tent is catching any overspray and I might have to clean the tent more but I feel better knowing there isn't the potential for solution leakage around the fan opening. If that makes sense. |
