Where ever there is a little definition, you can make it look much more defined with the appearance of a shadow from the contouring....hence the "making it darker" there from the darker solution ....i have never seen anyone else do it...just kinda played with it until it seemed right...i think the makeup brushes are the best. i'm not sure if you're a guy or a woman, but being a girl myself makes it easier for me to understand what makeup brushes do what since i wear makeup everyday :) i find the right brush really helpful :) |

And by that I don't mean turn the entire gun just the adjustable nozzle" http://www.tantoday.com/forums/sunle...r-tanning.html |

I use a foundation brush that is synthetic and is pretty flat, so I can cover larger areas if I wanted (never have needed to yet, though), and I can turn it sideways and use the skinny side for more precise applications and also use it for feathering/blending it out...I really like it...it's like a MAC Cosmetics 190 brush. (in fact, i might be using that brush...I can't remember). Basically I have the person flex their muscle in that area and where there is a natural shadow, I just enhance it with solution :) |

I can try playing with the 45 degree thing, but I'm pretty comfortable with how precise I can get without my gun and since I do so little of it, unless I practice all the time (which is impossible on me), I doubt I'll ever get good enough at it.... |

I can practice on my own abs with the brush, but mostly I convince my friends to let me play :) If I do a place where it's covered by their clothes, they will let me mess around a bit...abs are the easiest usually, I've done triceps, too...I did my thigh, too, but that was more difficult. |
