Question ST. TROPEZ spray tanning solution . . .

I currently use and love NORVELL. However, many of the professionals that spray the celebrities and pageants use ST. TROPEZ which doesn't come in different levels. One size fits all.

I was able to sample it recently on a client with very fair skin tone and was able to give her a natural glow away from the paleness which was exactly what she wanted. I'm wondering, had she wanted a richer darker tone I would have had to give her at least four coats. Something I don't need to do with NORVELL.

Does anyone use ST. TROPEZ spray tanning solution that can give me
their feedback? Thanks in advance.

Have you found a way to buy the St. Tropez in something other than just the retail "do it yourself" stuff? On their website it appears they don't have a link for salon owners. I have a message into them, but no response back yet.

You are right, it took me forever. After requesting a sample I was not happy with the results. It has a very pleasant smell but fades in 3 days and one size fit all meaning you continue spraying till you achieve the tone you are looking for which can mean lots of solution . Mind you, this solution is $180. a gallon. Wait! it doesn't stop here. There is a minimum amount required on your first purchase and thereafter. Here is your contact:

OMG. I think I'll pass! That's insane! I guess when you spray celebrities and dancing with the stars you can charge the moon.

Thanks for the info, though. Very helpful!

Re: ST. TROPEZ spray tanning solution . . .

St.Tropez was back in the day one of the original fake tans that looked very good. It was sold in a three step protocol that was targeted to day spas. After we sold the service and idea to the public that a fake tan could look good St. Tropez then went retail. Its really nice for them to do us like that. (sarcassim)
Now they have regrouped due to economic difficulties, (more like bad business moves) and you can hardly get a call back from them, their products have reformulated (even though they say they havnt been) and they are not nearly as good as in years past. Too bad... the spa applied tan was one of my best selling menu items 6-7 years ago.
I feel they are about the same as Fantasy Tan in that they think they have no competition!! True years ago, now not at all. I used them exclusively for years, now i've switched to the competition.

I did contact them, and they have contacted me back, but I've been slow to respond to them now that besthands and a few other people have given me some insight...

Re: ST. TROPEZ spray tanning solution . . .

I tanned 10 ladies from London last night and they kept asking me if I used St. Tropez & the only place they located it here in Florida was at the Ritz Carlton...

$180/gallon? That's crazy talk. I would never pay that much.

Sjolie works good for me and they are so affordable!
