I just switched to the Norvell Solutions. Just curious how many coats everyone does? I use the maximist pro gun with my knob turned 1/2 a turn (6:00). I was doing one coat at this setting then another at 1/4 of a turn (9:00). I feel with two coats it sometimes has a orange undertone to the tan? Any suggestions from Norvell users would be great. Is one coat ok? Do your clients still get full coverage?

I have used Norvell before and I only did one coat. I do think that two coats usually gives an orangey look! I'd stick with one and if they don't feel dark enough tell them to come in and you'll spray them again!

Turn your knob down if you are seeing an overspray or build up that looks orangy. Otherwise I typically use two coats. I also have a MaxiMist. Just remember to clean your gun and filter regularly. I feel that the Norvell solution sometimes creates a build up faster than other solutions.
