Rep Power: 15 | Re: Sjolie Review Our solution should produce the same darkness of tan after 24 hours of the DHA Development. The bronzer is the initial "tan" until the DHA takes over. You might notice some color wash off if you shower before 24 hours (which most do), however it will reach to similar results once the DHA is fully developed.

But still, a lot of people like it because it has a very natural brown kind of color and not very orangey at all. I just purchased Sjolie a couple weeks ago and am fairly pleased. I was a little worried it would be too light, but I am happy with the darkness I am left with post-shower. What I did was I bought a bottle of 6% and I bought a bottle of 14% so that I could custom blend whatever in-between color I might need. So a couple days ago I tried mixing about half 6% and half 14% (this was for myself), so I actually got sprayed with 10%. Some others have said that they purchased the DHA drops and added those to their solution to make a darker tan. |

Just wanted to explain my view point on why I'm glad they don't put it in. I'm sure Sjolie can answer your question about what may have caused it to smell so badly, did you use prep spray? |

Rep Power: 15 | Re: Sjolie Review @ lacofdfireman If you are experiencing smell, especially a week after your spray tan , it is more than likely clogged pores which will omit an odor that you describe. You also could be experiencing DHA odors, which is experienced with almost every sunless solution on the market. Our solution comes without scent to avoid any skin reactions that some clients could experience, and we do provide scent drops as an option to offer. The scent drops cost only $9.99 and will last for 100+ tans (Only $0.09 cents per tan, your cost).

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Sjolie Review I really like Sjolie. I think the color is great and it fades well. I do have a minor complaint though. Just as others have said, it is quite tacky for a while after being sprayed. I used to use Ocean solution , and even though I think overall Sjolie is better, one thing that Ocean is better with is drying. I don't like feeling sticky for so long. With Ocean, as soon as my husband finished spraying me I felt dry to the touch. With Sjolie....it feels like even though I have my husband dry me off with the air from the machine, I still feel tacky for 1 or 2 hours. |

Rep Power: 15 | Re: Sjolie Review Hello Tanerin81, Our solution line is Aloe based, compared to some solutions which are Alcohol based. Aloe based solutions provide a smooth, even, and long lasting tan compared to other types of solutions on the market. You might have to deal with tacky feeling for 10 minutes, but you will receive the benefits of moisturized skin from the Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract. Some of our clients who love our color and results, but dislike the tacky feeling, will simply use a type of baby powder to help dry the skin and remove any tackiness. I hope this information helps. Explaining the difference between Aloe based and Alcohol based solutions to your customers should remove any concern of tackiness. Take care,

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Sjolie Review Thank you Michael. I guess that makes sense that the aloe makes it kind of sticky. I know the other solution I used also had aloe in it, but it dried much faster for some reason. Maybe it had less aloe in it though. I still like Sjolie better than the other though. The color is so much better! I also wanted to say that I was very pleased with how fast my order from Sjolie shipped! I ordered it on a Friday afternoon, and it shipped within a couple hours! I was pleasantly surprised when I received it the following Tuesday (or it might have been Wednesday)! |
