Booth, Hand held, or Both?

Does anyone have both?
We currently do the the hand held hvlp spray tans but are considering adding a booth as well.

Would it be strange to offer both?

It is not strange- but be prepared to answer the question "Which is better".

Hand held all the way to the bank!

I have both. We obviously do more booth since it's cheaper, but have a steady building following to custom airbrush also.

Your profits are going to be better with the hand held. Our clients are starting to like the hand held better than our booth, and when it dies we are not going to replace it.

Re: Booth, Hand held, or Both?

Actually it would be pretty good to have both, you might even get more customers that way. Some people prefer the booth and other prefer hand held so you are offering a wider range of choices and therefore you will be getting more visitors.

It does take awhile to make your money back with a booth. With hand held you have profits with the first gallon.
