PH Balance Spray or Not Just wondering all you tanning gurus, if any of you can tell me about the PH sprays? Do you really see a difference in the results? If you recommend them, do you charge the client an extra "add-on fee" for them? Thanks |

you can upsell this to your clients... let me know if you have any questions ill try to help :) |
Re: PH Balance Spray or Not Some people it really helps them keep thier tan longer. Some people it makes no difference. I personally don't charge extra for it. I use it as a way to seperate myself from the rest of the people out there. That way if they get sprayed somewhere else and they don't put prep spray on them, it puts me in a more professional light. I would prep all people who are not properly exfoliated! You don't know what they have on thier skin. Better save than sorry. |
Re: PH Balance Spray or Not My disty saiid its like an insurance policy. You can't always count on your client to exfoliate properly nor to be sure they haven't used a cream or like before hand. Its your insurance that your spray looks good and fades nicely. |

Re: PH Balance Spray or Not It is built into our price. |
Re: PH Balance Spray or Not I have also tried the ph Balancing spray and will probably add that service into my current cost. I did not notice a huge difference on myself, but my clients I tried it on seemed to enjoy the smell and say their tan lasted a little longer. We did notice that their drying time was slightly longer though. My pricing is competitive but in my market, I am currently the only mobile spray tanner and try to set my professionalism and quality at the highest level. Currently I use MaxiMist, which I love by the way, but am finding it awkward to switch between the ph Balancing solution and my tanning solution. I've been using an available bathroom and switching solutions over the sink. Any suggestions on a smoother transition between solutions? Also, anyone use the SluffWipes and try out the ph Balancing spray? Preference? |
Re: PH Balance Spray or Not I use the PH spray in a spray bottle first and manually spray it on. They can rub it in with their hands or use a towelette to rub it in. I like the fragrance of mine also. |
Re: PH Balance Spray or Not The more you train your client to prepare their skin to receive their spray tan the better it will look and make a happy tanner who will come back and send referrals. GK |
Re: PH Balance Spray or Not I keep the plastic gun set up for PH balancer, and the PRO gun for solutions...makes it easy to change out |
