Spraying for pageants?

Does anyone have experience spraying girls for beauty pageants? I do airbrush tanning at my salon, and I recently had a girl start coming that does pageants, modeling, and acting. She's asked me to come to her house and do a party for a large group of "pageant girls." I'd really like to earn their business, and want to do a really good job. I know they usually like to be pretty dark for pageants. However, I'm usually afraid to use TOO dark of a solution on someone, fearing it will have an orange-look. (I use Norvell solutions.) Any tips or suggestions you have would be great. Thanks!

I used to be a pageant girl myself. I would use 2 coats of the norvell dark. Just make sure they moisturize a lot so it fades nice on them.

Why change up anything you do normally?

I wouldn't necessarily change what I do, I just wasn't sure if girls competing in pageants had different expectations or requests than the average customer.

I don't think so. It's not like body builders. They don't want to look to dark on stage, especially their face. It will make them look fake or hard to see their features.
They just want to look like they have a great tan. They might want a little bit of contouring on their arms, thighs, abs. But not enough to make them look masculine.

Ok, great. Thank you! I was just a little nervous, wondering if I was diving into a whole new world of tanning expectations! Thanks for your help!

I recently just did a girl for a pageant. She was the only tan one on stage & won the swimsuit portion :)

Pageants are fun! I just shadowed the girls that trained me at one, and it was a blast! Funnest part was going to see the show the following day, and actually seeing our work on stage.

I sprayed a couple girls that won their pageants locally. Did nothing different than a regular spray. I did find that if I wanted to spray lots of them, I would have to sponsor the pageant. After about the 5th girl girl, I was getting emails daily from other girls asking me to sponsor them. I would have done it, if it was any of the girls that I had as actual customers.

How did bronzelifetx get banned already? That might be a record! lol
