Tan Tax

Im sure this topic has been beatin to death the past few days but......I have heard that this tax applies to all "indoor tanning" but I have also heard that spray tanning may not be affected. Anyone have a definitive answer one way or another?

Just do a LITTLE reading and you will see its for UV transmitting devices only - for now.

Hey there :), at this point spray tanning is not included. However, if you think things through spray tanning and teeth whitening will be the next 2 easiest services for them to add when they realize they WAY over estimated what they would get in tax money from UV tanning. Their argument will be easier because spray tanning never received FDA approval and the Derms will want the self-tanning lotion sales to themselves. Also the paper work will already be in place and all the problems worked out. Well maybe not all the problems worked out.....after all they are in government jobs! lol
