Hi!

We just purchased our Norvell NT-2000 with the sound muffling box and I'm curious if anyone else uses this system for mobile tanning. It seems like it's going to be a little difficult to carry the box and everything with me to mobile tanning appointments. Does anyone have any tips for making it a little more managable?

I thought about installing handles on the box but I'm afraid the wood isn't solid enough and they might snap off. Help!

Not the system I would recommend for mobile. The box just makes it quieter can you leave that at home? Still gonna be a lot to handle for mobile. NT-2000 is best for in a salon setting.

Thank you for your input, but since we just spent $1,000 on our machine we're looking for some creative suggestions. We put a lot of time and research into picking which model we wanted and we were willing to heft around a bigger machine for a superior output. ;)

I do not have the NT 2000 so I am not sure of its measurements but I purchased carry cases when I got my machine from CalTan. One case for my machine and one case for solutions, gun, and other stuff. The inside measurments of the case are 9 1/2 inches x 18 inches. They are similar to a suite case I guess with wheels on one end. Not sure if this helps you or not :)

You can also check out rolling totes meant for scrapbooking or sewing machines. They have lots of pockets for your other supplies

TANNING FREAK

I take the unit out of the(ugly I think) box when I use it mobile and use a small,wheeled luggage carrier,strapped it on with bungee cords,had s small plastic case on top of that with all of my supplies.
