blotchiness with sunless tanning question?

Hello.

I just purchased infinity sun spa lite last month and I have noticed that people are fading blotchy in their chest area. Any suggestions on what I could do to prevent that from happening?

I have been told that it may be the solution :(

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: blotchiness with sunless tanning question?

Having dealt with many solutions I can safely say that it is not the solution per say but more the individuals body and habits.

I believe it happens for two reasons.

1. This is an area that tends to be a bit more sweaty on women so body oils are concentrated in this area.

2. Many Women put on perfume right in that area and the oils and alcohols (very drying) from the perfume sit there 8-12 hours or longer if they don't shower and it denatures the DHA and if it is cheap perfume that is full of alcohol it accelerates drying in that area, hence the "peeling" "splotchy" effect.

You can recommend in your before and after care tips that they ensure they exfoliate the decolletage area well PRIOR to spray tanning and for after care DO NOT spray perfumes directly onto the skin while enjoying your spray tan .

Re: blotchiness with sunless tanning question?

I have spray tanned a friend of mine quite a few times with my normal solution which is an 11% and they always turn out great. This last time I used a different solution from a different company that was an 8.5 or 9% and it peeled on her chest. The only other thing I did differently was powdering her because this solution was a little sticky unlike my normal solution . Any ideas on why this happened?

I also have a few clients that tend to get patchy on certain areas of their body (inner crease of elbow, in between breasts) no matter what solution is used on them. They have also been powdered and not been powdered. Any ideas on what is going on with this?
