Tan extender/ moisturizer for airbrush tan - tanTALK

I'm looking for good lotions to suggest to my clients to extend their airbrush tans. I'd ideally like to find a few with DHA and a few without at a couple different price points. Any other good brands...DC..?Any suggestions...?

I've been looking at:
Hempz Cucumber & Jasmine Moisturizer - Daily Moisturizer
Hempz Herbal Moisturizer - Daily Moisturizer
South Seas Tahitian Tan Extender - Tan Extending Lotion
South Seas Tahitian Glow - Sunless Tanning Lotion
DS Angel - Daily Moisturizer
DS Tinted Love - Sun-Kissed Moisturizer
DS Undercover Angel - Daily Moisturizer
Cal Tan After Glow - bronze tinted tanning lotion
Norvell Amber Sun Pro-Long - Color Control Moisturizer

When you decide what solution you are going to use, try offering their tan extender and other retail products.

I've never tried Hempz but I've heard it is good at an even better price point. I sell Breeze and Norvell after care products. I like Breeze moisturizer better than Norvell but LOVE Norvell oil scrub (for pre-tan prep). However, the oil scrub doesn't sell well. I've also used Johnson's & Johnson's baby lotion and had similar results in terms of tan longevity. That is just me though, my husband gets better results with Breeze. Has anyone compared J&J's to other after-care moisturizers?

Why would you want to send your client to the drug store when you can sell them a product from your stock?

We have sold Norvell-Pro-long; SB Endless w/ bronzer; DC Glow

As much as I love to hate on ETS- SB Endless w/ bronzer sales were double the others.

Agreed On Bronzer- no drug store lotions. Quality first!

Hi. I was just wondering if you use the norvell solutions and system. I am in the process of opening a upscale Sunless salon in Buffalo, NY. Norvell is one of the companies I am thinking about purchasing from? If you use their line I hope you don't mind me asking. I am looking to find a company that will train me and another associate. No one in the northeast area seems to offer any hands on training. Your help is greatly appreciated!

My clients and I really like the tan extender by South Seas. I think the price is reasonable as well.

I am a hair stylist that is getting into spray tanning. I love morrocan oil!! I will have to give it a try on my spray tan and suggest it to my spray tanning clients as well. If it wasn't so expensive it might be great straight and not as an additive.

Hi, do you get the Morroccan oil from a Sally Beauty Supply, or where do you recommend? Has anyone tried adding olive oil or mineral oil to the J&J instead? That could be cheaper, perhaps. Thank you.
