Wink Spraying and shaving?

My husband and I have been trying out different solutions to find one that we really like. I shaved my legs about 3 days after my tan and I noticed that it made my tan streaky. Any tips? I use a razor with a big moisturizing bar, could that be the issue?

DON'T use a sharp razor? Really? I would have thought that a sharp razor would have a better chance of shaving without affecting the skin. Looks like I'll have to change my post-spray instructions.

Re: Spraying and shaving?

I've never had that problem. What solution do you use? And did you prep your skin before your spray?

Re: Spraying and shaving?

use an old razor??? I never heard of that..

I tell my clients use a new razor evertime you shave.
Shaving is another form of exfoliating your skin.
Use hair conditioner , instead of shaving cream

Fresh Sharp razors are ideal for pre spray tans

Less Sharp razors or even a good electric razor produces better sunless tan longevity.

so you advise your clients to exfoliate their skin daily or after you have applied their spray tans ?

How long do their tans last may I ask?

The color guide may be very staining on your skin

Everyone is different, your skin might have really absorbed the color guide.

I would next exfoliate all of your sunless tan off maybe this weekend.

Then spray tan yourself again ... pm me and i will give you instructions on how to prevent color guide staining.

:)
