Question Mystic Cartridges - Expiration Date?

I recently purchased a new tanning bed and was given a big box of Mystic Clear Myst and Bronz Myst cartridges. I can't use them since I don't offer sunless, but I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the expiration dates. I see that they're labelled, "083108C" on the bottom of the bottles. I assume this means they expired August 31 of 2008, but I wasn't sure if that was expiration date or the manufacture date. Anyone know for sure?

If they are expired, should I just pitch them? Does Mystic stuff keep? I know that you don't want to use bronzing lotions way past their dates because of the risk of uneven results. Is Mystic the same way? If they have any value, I'll try to sell them for cheap on tantalk or Ebay or something. If they're expired, I might just pitch them.

Looks like a lot of people have viewed this, but no one has replied yet! Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

If you don't need them then chuck 'em.

Just call Mystic, I'm sure they will be able to give you the answer. The newer units have UPC codes on them.

Re: Mystic Cartridges - Expiration Date?

That is most likely a date code of when it was made. If was an expiration date it would most likely say EXP or Expires in front of it. Those cartridges are sealed pretty well, so you shouldn't have to worry about them being exposed to air.

I would just put them in the for sale section at $1.50 each & I bet they will sell fast.
