The point has been missed here, as it usually is because most are illiterate.

The problem here is when a company (sunless) within a certain industry (tanning) decides to use another company (UV) in the same industry negatively to promote their own division.

This is not about bashing sunless, it is about putting sunless companies "that bash UV tanning to push their own" on notice.

The companies that do not use negative advertising and promote all aspects of the tanning industry are not a problem and are not being addressed in this thread and in fact have their own list above stating that they do in fact support UV and sunless under one roof and play by the rules.

Yeah *******, I got it a long time ago. I agree that sunless companies do not need to promote uv tanning as something dangerous to promote themselves.

I'm talking about what goes on in this forum. You not only put sunless comapnies on notice... you personally trash sunless tanning as sticky nasty crap and say that it's dangerous when you're not even sure of that as a face. So, you are doing exactly what you hate so much. You're bashing sunless to promote uv tanning.

**** off with your attitude and quit crying on here. Everyone gets your point. I don't even know a single person whos goes in tanning beds anymore. I work in a 7000 sq foot salon that started 5 years ago with 5 tanning beds....guess how many we have now? Zero. You can go out in the actual sun or get a instant tan.

Don't hate the player ...hate the game. Times have changed ... move on and quit acting like you're the only one with a brain in your head.

Also, you never said anything about rubbing lotion full of cancer causing ingredients all over yourself and then heating it up and changing the already dangerous properties to be possibly more dangerous.

This is a marriage either worth saving or we need a divorce because it continues to be non-productive, distracting and toxic and I see no end in sight.

This is out and out TAN on TAN crimes. What a darn shame and If this continues then like someone said..the house of cards will crumble. I for one would like it STOP.

If there is an inability to cease the Tan on Tan crimes I think a new website called, www.MobileSunlessTalk.com is in order. Then the sunless companies can get their market share in advertising there.

If the mobile sunless industry is strong then it will and can stand on its own. That is the only way I see this as being productive for anyone.

Then we can get back to our business as usual. Best wishes!

I agree, this website has gotten to be lame. I've had about all I can take of listening to same people being rude and antagonistic towards everyone.

They hurt their own cause because they're so **** annoying.

Did you read his post? He called me illiterate and is plain rude. I have no problem calling rude people who call me names a few not so nice names.

I think the main issue here is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion regarding UV and sunless. Just like i have some tanning lotions that i dont personally like (but customers do) But i would never say to a customer such and such lotion sux so you should only be this one ( one that i like).

Inaccurately bashing uv tanning to gain business is unethical. I think what they are trying to say is that there is a difference when you bash something publicly and inaccurately than stating your opinion that you don not personally like something.

Gosh, i hate typing my thoughts. They are so hard to put into words. lol

^^ Not hard to put into words at all. I understand exactly what you're saying. It's one thing to bash UV to promote sunless, and another thing to bash sunless because you don't like it.

I totally agree with what you have just said and what has been said on here many many times. I don't agree with him bashing sunless on this forum or his attitude towards me and almost everyone else he corresponds with on here.

Is he bashing it just because he doesn't like it and some companies discourage uv tanning? Or is he bashing it because he wants you to get uv tan instead? Who knows.... either way he should not be trashing it here on this forum.
