Rep Power: 0 | any tan removal tips? im sure this is my fault because im new to the sunless tanning industry but i some of my clients are being over tanning in the undesirable spots such has the tops of the hands and feet, being a bit to dark. one client some how got the palms of his hands covered in solution . since i was using clear i think he might have touched where his spray tan was applied. as to the tops of the hands and feet i know stay away dont spray them, but its still happening...how can it be removed once the DHA has set? ive heard of wipes or towels but searching online i cant find them, ive only found wipes on thetanningstore.com and they are to be used prior to DHA setting in within 2 hours of a spray. any advice? oh and maybe some advise on my spraying technique....ive been told just fan out when you you reach the feet and hands. thanks so much! heather |

Exfoliate like crazy. people can get tan on their palms when the sleep with the solution on, they could lay with their hand on their skin all nite. Tell them to put baby powder on their palms before bed. only mist their hands and feet, color absorbs faster there. |

Below is the method I use and instruct clients to use: 1. use exfoliation mits and use South Seas Body Polish and with circular motion cleanse and exfoliate skin (dont rub too hard) 2. Shave areas like legs with a fresh razor 3. Use a loofah in circular motion and clarifying shampoo on highly stained areas (dont be too rough on your skin) then rinse off whole body with clarifying gel I have never needed to use Milk of Magnesia but I did read in a magazine that this is excellent for removing the tan! Many other users have commented that it did work! hope I was helpful... |
