Rep Power: 0 | Need a Little Help with VersaSpa :) This might be a dumb question, but you know how hard it is to tell how much solution is left in the bag-in-a-box thing...so when you pull it out and there's still a bit left in there...is there any way to transfer that into another bag-in-a-box and conserve so I'm not wasting all that solution everytime? It adds up!! Next question...I also heard that they put in a bit of extra solution in the bag because when it gets to the bottom, you're supposed to throw the little bit of solution out because apparently once it gets to a certain low point, it doesn't spray out correctly or something and the client doesn't get any color. Has anyone else heard that?? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Need a Little Help with VersaSpa :) thanks for the reply! so it is true that they put extra solution in the bag meant to be discarded? I had a client the other day in the versa spa who got no color at all (and she did dark!). I checked everything and there was bronzer left in the bag, not a whole lot, but enough for another application I thought. I couldn't figure out what was wrong, but our supplier said it was because that last bit of solution isn't meant to be used. Nice of them to tell us that three months after we got the VersaSpa!! |

What it has to do with is that the machine is normally set to show a solution error on your EZ guage when there is 150 grams left. This is to keep you from spraying the machine empty and needing to purge the air out of the lines when you put a new solution box on. It is really for your own safety, to make sure that when the box gets empty or very close to empty you don't have a problem. True, you are going to throw out a couple of dollars worth of solution but that is way better than having a spray session stop in the middle because you run out of solution . |

So it sounds like that wasn't the cause of that lady not getting any color...hmm...... |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Need a Little Help with VersaSpa :) The lady probably didn't get any color because they changed the solution and it sucks! I have talked to several other salons and they have the same problem. Talk about losing money! People don't like when they pay for a spray and it comes off when they shower. I'm trying to figure out how to use a different solution unless they fix this. They won't return any of my calls or give any answers wither. They have their tech say the machine isn't calobrated right but that doesn't have anything to do with it. Are you guys having the same problem? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Need a Little Help with VersaSpa :) Well we've only had the VersaSpa for a few months so this 'new' solution is the only solution we've ever known. And I must say the VersaSpa is pretty friggin awesome for the most part, but it was just this one day about a week and a half ago, I had two clients go back to back basically, and neither of them got any color. We just had a tech come recalibrate it.... It worries me because when we were thinking about getting the VersaSpa, we went to try it at a salon in another city, and there the girl told me they get good results but "some people's skin just doesn't take the solution ..." I would love to try the old solution and compare! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Need a Little Help with VersaSpa :) We have issues too where clients say they feel it came out "blotchy". At first, this was only occasionally when they would do a level 3 bronzer. However, recently its been happening with level 2 as well. I noticed it happened when the solution was fairly low but not to a point where it had to be changed. Any other similar issues?? |

Re: Need a Little Help with VersaSpa :) I had the original spray and it was perfect. Then it got bad and they seem to have made a change AGAIN and it is a bit better but still with issues. Am shopping it out now. Just the smell of the latest is enough to tell me it is not the original stuff we started out with. | |
