In that time I traveled around the country and tought many salon owners how to spray tan and always recommended that since they were going to doing it everyday they and their staff should alway wear a mask and have good ventilation to get rid of the over spray |

Rep Power: 15 | Re: Pregnant sprayers While I don't have a problem with pregnant women UV tanning, there are risks involved regarding body temperature. HOWEVER, it would be extremely irresponsible to inhale a propellant that contains lead, arsenic, mercury and propylene glycol on a regular basis while pregnant. Fine if you don't give a **** about yourself, but you've got a kid to worry about now. |

Rep Power: 17 | Re: Pregnant sprayers Actually I did ask my doctor if I could you UV tan and she said absolutely- the only warning she gave me is overheating and to avoid the bed/room when it was very warm to tan in the a.m. and she is a obgyn and I have had several women tan her up in till delivering and their babies are quite healthy- good vitamin D... by the way its the same as laying out - but, in a much more controlled environment- to each is their own

My other point is just because something is FDA approved DOES NOT mean it is safe for everyone and in every situation. What do you people have against wearing respirators? Would you let your kid ride/drive in a car without their seatbelt? | |

Abstinence from the sun (which I'm sure is what you're getting at) is like telling your kids to abstain from sex. That's why Jerry Springer exists. Instead of scaring people, maybe they should be educated. So, get educated. |
