Re: Has anyone ever gotten headache, dizzy?

Hey this is cool! I wanted to bring attention to this! Come on people there has got to be more than just me and 2 other people in the whole WORLD (thats what solution company said about me and my reaction.) If you aren't going to come forward for yourself what about your clients?

Re: Has anyone ever gotten headache, dizzy?

Eileen, no I am not allergic to aloe. I have aloe plants and rub the juice on me. Wow, did you complain to anyone when you got sick?

I'm not understanding your comments about Sobetan. I always use a nose filter. I have used surgical masks in the past, they didn't work. I have hepa filter filtration on fans. What the problem here is my solution . I can't even walk by the closed bottle without feeling like chucking! I'm keeping it in the fridge (sealed up) for evidence right now.

Re: Has anyone ever gotten headache, dizzy?

Illtan you, HI no I don't have any medical conditions. I don't have any sinus problems at all. I don't take any medications. There are some cleaning products that do tighen up my throat, 409 is one, I haven't used it for 10 years. I suspect very highly that this solution is making me sick. I haven't used it since the party. My season is dying down so I haven't sprayed since the party either, but I don't mind!

Re: Has anyone ever gotten headache, dizzy?

Jlkinternationa, thank goodness you came on here. I've had a week study on the chemistry of sunless tanners this past week and the results are shocking. You took the words right out of my keyboard. I feel as spray techs we need to DEMAND these companies change their formulas. Its just a matter of time before a client gets really sick. Are we just guinea pigs to these labs? My company told me that they highly doubt that I am even sick! Why? Why wouldn't I be! I just received some certified organic solution . I haven't had time to try it yet. I'm going to have to raise my price because that stuff isn't cheap!

Techs here are some eye opening sites:

http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com. Type in sunless tanners. Better yet type in mystic tan! Jergens Natural Glow was a good one too! I use Jergens Naturals 92% natural. Its not natural!

http://www.lesstoxicguide.ca/index.asp?fetch=personal. Scroll down to list.

http://thegreenbeautyguide.com/?p=139. I'm not sure about the free radicals, but good article!

You know I'm angry. I feel duped. All we hear is its safe. All the solution companies say. "pure" "natural" "ocean" "sun" "spa" they should put "crap" on the website!

Re: Has anyone ever gotten headache, dizzy?

I was thinking too. Ya notice how some solutions are saying paraben free, phthalate free, and propylene glycol free now? Isn't that fishy? That's what's all over the internet as harmful.

Re: Has anyone ever gotten headache, dizzy?

What is certified organic? If a product is truelly certified organic it should have the symbol and seal of approval on it. The symbol should be a circle and in the circle it should have or say USDA and organic under it. This symbol and seal can only be used if the product is certified using 95% and up of organic ingredients. Anything under that you can use to word organic on your packaging but not the seal and if the organic ingredients are 70% or less you are not even suppose to use the term organic on your packaging according to the USDA.Does yours have the symbol? If you are not sure what to look for just search ( USDA organic symbol or seal )

You feel duped? Maybe you should start by answering all the questions you conveniently ignore. I'm sorry but you are as fake as your tan. You mocked me for trying to tell you how to do spray tanning in a recommended FDA approved environment. Maybe like most mobile spray tanners you took the cheap route thinking you were going to make a quick buck or something. Sorry you were NOT duped no pity session for you here. Tantalk has all the information here to help you, you choose to read only what you want and when you want. Make sure you watch Dr. Mercola's video on tanning beds today while you are at it. :)

Re: Has anyone ever gotten headache, dizzy?

Eileen, I don't know what your beef is with me all the time! What is the deal? You personally attack me ALL the time and you have never met me! I have YET to make a quick buck from this business. I am in a hole that I will probably never get out of! I did EVERYTHING right! I am certified, I have 500,000 dollar insurance, state of the art equipment, filtration, supposedly the best solution (advise from THIS site, psh)! The FDA? By allowing antifreeze, toxic perfumes, phailates in the solutions? They are the ones that got us in this mess!

P.S. I will never ever get into a tanning bed! NEVER! I haven't sunbathed since I was 14 and had to have some moles removed from my back.

Eileen, why kill the messenger? I am trying to get people to see that we are being duped! The solution companies are using us!
