Wink Tan solution samples.

wow i just spent a couple hours reading a ton of threads. this is my first time on this site and all the info has been very helpful. I am an esthetician in NJ and i do services out of my home as well as at a spa. I am looking to purchase some spray tanning equipment and a good solution . I think im gonna go with the maximist hvlp machine because that is what we use at the spa and I have become very familiar with it. Im not sure about solution . I want to order some samples. Can someone tell me how to go about this. Do i actually have to call companies or can i just order off their sites. if anyone has any websites that would be helpful. Also, about how much do sample run?

thanks,
Kim

Re: Tan solution samples.

I recently just ordered a bunch of samples.

I ordered a machine and got 4-8oz samples from Tampa Bay tan with my machine, but you can order them from their website www.tampabaytan.com or from their ebay store for $40 for all four samples.

Tan Envy sent me a liter sample of their Sun Spray for free, no shipping! www.tanenvy.com Product went on well, good smell, not sure about how it will look after it washes up, gotta follow up with some clients, I used it for the first time sunday.

All About Me sent me a 4oz sample for free with no shipping. I really loved this product. Great smell, very little sticky feeling, plus a huge bonus it's only $75 a gallon. Comes in medium (has a bit of a red tone) and Dark (brown tone) and in 8.5 and 12% DHA on both. I tried the Dark 8.5 and loved it. www.meenter.com

I ordered some South Seas Tahitian Tan... I haven't used it yet, but the sample was not cheap! I paid $18 total for one 8oz sample. www.southseasskincare.com

I also ordered a few different samples from PureSpa Direct, and paid $21 total for 3-4oz samples. I haven't tried those yet either, but I heard good things about them. Draw back is they are not cheap per gallon. www.purespadirect.com

I hope this information helps! Good luck to you!

Re: Tan solution samples.

I got the (expensive) sample from south seas, upon someon's high recommendation and it was aweful. I contacted Julie, the owner and she said I had probably applied it inappropriately...

Thanks for all your reccomendations! I'll put them to good use!

I have tried many different brands. South Seas is now my solution of choice. I love the color, the smell, and the longevity of the tan.

Re: Tan solution samples.

Tanning solution samples are available from most of the solution vendors websites or by calling, don't forget to try ayusunless.com ,avivalabs, react cosmetics, some of these names I don't see mentioned on the post here but well worth giving them a try.

Re: Tan solution samples.

wow....I feel like I got jipped. I paid $49 + shipping to Aviva labs for samples of there product. Then $15 + shipping to all about me for a sample of there product. I am new to the industry so I just assumed everyone charges for samples. Oh well, at least now I know.

Re: Tan solution samples.

If you get more than one sample, All About Me will charge $5 per 4oz sample. So you could get all four samples for $15 bucks, or one sample for free.

Re: Tan solution samples.

Correction...sorry guys I was wrong, All about me didn't charge me for shipping! Just checked my invoice after reading your posts. Hey Forever Sunnie, did you try your samples from tampa bay tan? I also purchased my machine from them and received the 4 free samples but didn't hear many good reviews on them. Please let me know if you liked it. I haven't recieved my aviva labs sampler pack yet, but am trying the all about me and vani-t on my girlfriends. Thank god for girlfriends willing to let you practice ;) haha.
