Hi All. Has anyone done door hangers as a means of advertisement (for mobile sunless)? I have gotten mixed opinions from people on this matter. Some people say that they get annoyed by people leaving ads on their doors, but then again some people think its a good way to get new clients.

What's your opinion or experience with using door hangers?

I don't usually pay much attention to what they're advertising.

Only bad part is, finding someone that will deliver all of them and not toss them in the garbage and say they delivered them.

You pay all this money to print a nice doorhanger and they don't deliver them.

This is why i'd rather pay for direct mail and have post office guarantee the delivery and that some kid is not tossing them after the first 2 blocks, or miss streets.

Plus, you can deliver by demographics through a mailing list in the US, so you know that higher % chance they tan rather than delivering to races that don't tan and wasting money.

My sister and I will be delivering them so I don't have to worry about that. Plus, I want to do it myself to make sure they go to the right neighborhoods too..i.e. people with money...lol.
