Re: Anyone own the Maxi Mist can give me suggestions on solutions, etc?

I have a Maximist and i like it. It leaks a little. Not sure why so i wear gloves. I have been using Breeze but am now looking for a new solution . I just got some samples of Aviva so i will trst those out. I used All about me and thats where i got my hvlp from but dont care for the solutions. They are very blotchy but was thinking about giving it a try agsin. Would love to know of more companies that give away samples of their solutions. I spent $30.00 on two 4 oz samples of solution and paid for shipping and handling. I feel a little jipped.

Your Maximist shouldn't leak. You have a problem. Maybe Tanningdude can help you.He seems to know HVLP machines. Not sure why you would have better out come with Breeze than All About Me. Most people on these boards seem to like All About Me,including myself. Get your machine adjusted first.

Yea i need to. It drips on my fingers and stains them before i get a chance to wipe it off. I had good luck with breeze. The all about me was not good for me at all. I have som samples still so i might try it again.

Tighten the glad nut just a very little bit, maybe a 1/16th at a time, and I mean very little until the leaking stops. Its the little nut in front of the trigger.

Common issue but once set right won't happen again.

Tanning Dude and Gun Leaking

I am having the same problem as the previous poster with my gun leaking. I have tightened the nut, but it seems to come loose again when I take the cup off and on. I seem to be constantly tightening it up. Is this normal, or is there another issue? I am so frustrated by this, can you please give me a suggestion? Thanks!

Re: Anyone own the Maxi Mist can give me suggestions on solutions, etc?

I own the Maxi Mist Pro and LOVE IT. I looked at many different systems and wanted to go for the more expensive ones but I didn't have the money either. I am very happy with my purchase. Granted I am a newbie and just started my business a few months ago so I have never seen nor used a "higher" end system. Just my 2cents, never had a problem and it gets the job done without breaking the bank.

Re: Anyone own the Maxi Mist can give me suggestions on solutions, etc?

My gun leaked a few times but when I called the company they had me turn the white thing inside the top of the cup upside down. It gives it a new seal. Or replace it with another white piece from one of the extra cups. It seems to have helped the problem for me. Also make sure you aren't putting too much solution in the cup.

Hope it helps!!

Maximist is perfect for mobile. Light weight and a work horse! Good price. What more do you need??
