I would like to know what you think of spraying tanning twice back to back (or within 24 hours). If this is something you promote, do you prefer to get it done all at once or have the client get sprayed, wait until after their post tan shower and then get sprayed again? I tried it myself a few weeks ago but didn't have the greatest results. My color was deeper and lasted a little longer with the exception of my wrists. When they started to fade they were really patchy.

Sorry for the double post, but one person had a problem with me calling getting sprayed twice a double dip.

It is not a good idea-one is fine.

Two is too much solution for your skin to react to. Like you said you were patchy. I can't imagine that your color looked good either.

It takes 24 hours for a spray tan to fully develop, just have the client wait a full 24 then try another coat. Be careful you don't want to turn them orange. Maybe do a spot test? I don't offer a "double dip" but I am thinking about it. I did read somewhere that a second clear solution coat is better than one with a bronzer.

You should not be spraying people back to back in the same day, they should wait at least until the next day, but better yet, leave a day in between.

If you spray them once and then again right after...it's too much for the skin and they will look more orange.

A far as spraying back to back, Im thinking maybe it will have something to do with the solution you are using? I have a couple of models that use my Mystic booth and they do 2 sprays back to back and love the color. I advised them they could turn orange, but they say they don't. When it comes off, its not too pretty, but they know how to take care of that with exfoliation, etc. Just my experience here.

for people that want stronger colour, you should keep a solution with higher levels of DHA %. It's better than putting more solution on the skin immediately after.

DHA of 12% or more is really dark, and keep something with a 9% on hand for all skin types.

If you are spraying with a 9% it won't hurt to put a bit more on the body, just not a an entire full coating a second time in the same day.
