Rep Power: 18 | Larger clients = more solution? not true!! Ok not to start a feud here.... but larger clients positively do not need more solution to get a great spray tan . They just need someone to apply the same amount of solution in a precise and accurate manner. Let the overspray/featherspray work for you instead of wiping the stuff off the floor and walls!! Use the same stroke pattern and passes as with anyone else, just put a tiny bit of space between your passes. Most HVLP rigs have at least a 4-8 inch spread anyways so use it to your advantage!!! 4-8 inch spread with another 2-4 featherspray on each side = 6-12" solution path!! You could paint a fence or barn with a pattern like that!!!! 2 oz and their out the door ! And lovin it!!! Train yourself to shoot for the 2 oz mark. Its true some equipment simply spits out way more solution than needed.... if you own such equipment then upgrade and reap the benifets of a lower cost per client with excellent results!!! Not trying to ruffle feathers here, just trying to offer experence based info. Have a great day all!!! |

I spray my husband once a week! I don't do shortcuts! If I used 6-8 oz. on someone, it would put me out of business! A gallon of solution is like liquid gold. The last gallon I bought was $125 dollars. |

More skin more solution needed. To say that a person with a size 1 frame is going to develop the same tan with the same amount of solution as someone with a size 18 frame is implausible. The size 18 may get a tan but not as deep/dark as the size 1 Ive tried it... | |

I got to thinking when I have someone spray me they usually only use 1-1.5 oz. and I'm no skinny mini, I'm 5'3 145 pounds. I use the Ultramyst. I love it. I did a tanning party Friday sprayed 8 girls, I used maybe 18 oz of solution , and there were some big girls there. |
