I don't use Fantsay Land, I've never even heard of that - LOL - I use Only Sunmist Products!! In fact Sunmist is the only products I use. I have had no reason to test any others to date.

To answer your questions Vanity Tan...

I started in January 2009. Purchased my Sunmist Professional Mobile System. www.sunmisttanning.com - Started off by making flyers, and business cards for myself with the Sunmist Logo (got their permission to use it). Mailed out the postcards, that came with my system. Went to local SPA's they are everywhere in abundance, and you would be amazed at how may don't offer a Sunless service. Went to Active Adult Communities. Went to Cheerleading Camps, went to Strip Clubs (that was kinda blush blush bizarre), but I spray this one group of dancers weekly now, just from a visit with my information. I did do their first spray free so they could see the result, and Voila, they were Sold!

That's how it started, by me going around and dropping off my information, and then I followed up each week on the same day. Business started happening the very first month, and has grown steadily from there! I didn't make $5000.00 a month the first 3 months, but I did well, and each month was more than the last! I have made over $5000.00 in both April and May and I am up to almost $3000.00 for June so far!! I do "Events" at the Active Adult Communities, these have been HUGELY successful for me. I am there 2 times a week ALL DAY now. That's almost $1000.00 for those 2 days alone, and that's weekly! June is going to be my best month yet, I am excited for July!!

I am completely Mobile, no one comes to me. I put my removable magnetic car signs on my car and off I go. The Sunmist Solutions are really BEAUTIFUL color. I have two solutions, and between the two they serve the needs of all of my clients. I get calls, all the time now.

I have two days that I go to SPA's and they have a room for me, they set most of the appointments, or if I get calls, I schedule them at that spa, so I am able to spray mulitble clients at one location. I have found that to be the less demanding, and the most productive use of my time. If you try to get the business of Spa's in your area, let them know that the benefit to the Spa, is an additional in-demand service, and they have a chance to sell multible other services to the clients when they come in. At my Spas we charge $45.00 per tan, of which I give them $15.00 per client. Win-Win. It also helps build "My Reputation" in the community, so I don't mind the pay-off.

I live in Atlanta, Georgia. It's a very big city, with a lot of subarbs = $$$$$ :-)

Prior to purchasing your Sunmist system who did you get training and certification from? You make it sound like your equipment came.......an out the door you went w/$ signs everywhere!

Basically, that's about it! I was sitting on go, and ready to make it happen. I didn't have any training other than the Sunmist DVD that came with my Mobile System. Then I had a wine & Cheese party at my house and sprayed 10 of my friends for practice (that was fun, we laughed our booty's off). Practice makes perfect, like my Mother always told me!!I got my certification online with the American Tanning Institute in December 2008, prior to purchasing my Sunmist Mobile System in January 2009, they are the ones who actually recommended Sunmist to me, and I'll be forever grateful. It literally has changed my life in a few short months! It is easy, but takes determination and the will to succeed. The certification has really only served me as "bragging" that I am certified - LOL! The folks at Sunmist actually recommended that I hit Active Adult Communities, and Spa's. They have been excellent with the service, and advice. I bombarded them with emails in the beginning, I had so many questions, and they answered them all and gave advise. I got lucky, that and my will to succeed. It's not rocket science, any of you can succeed at this business, with a little effort, and confidence! So, Yes, I received my system and I was out the door and saw potential $$$$$ everywhere!

A LOT of Hours. It is officially "TAN SEASON" so, I am working 8 to 10 hours a day, 5Days a week right now, that includes my drive time. I don't mind, as I expect to slow down in September, then its VACATION time for me!

I am actually off today, feels really good.
