Rep Power: 0 | Partnerships with mobile tanning? Does any one have a business with a partner? A friend of mine and I want to start a mobile spray tanning business together but are trying to figure out what the best way will be. Any suggestions? We both have other jobs right now and this would be somethign that we would like to start up and grow to become our full time income. I would really like to see what has worked for others. |

Re: Partnerships with mobile tanning? I would say split the cost 50/50.....as long as you both are putting, your all into the part time business.....if only 1 is putting time into it, then that is a different story...but as long as both is comitted, I would say split all costs 50/50

We each want to try to get our own clientele like having a franchise -sharing the same name and then later being able to have others buy into it. |

Here are a few things to think about: Since you are both working full time jobs right now - do you each have the commitment to work after hours and weekends? How are you going to decide who gets which customer? How will you handle it if a customer prefers one of you over the other one? You definitely need to work out the money situation! Money can easily ruin a friendship regardless of how well you get along. | |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Partnerships with mobile tanning? That is exactly what we were hoping to do and we live about an hour away from each other as well. We also live in an area where no one else is doing mobile spray tanning so we have a large population of people to go after as clientele. Good questions to think about. How do you do the accounting? Do you have an accountant that pays taxes for the company combining what you make in the year with what your partner makes in a year? My husband owns 2 businesses but he is a sole proprietor so I don't have any experience with a partnership and how that works financially. |
