you need only one spray tan application to get a colour...an initial colour is applied with the solution application itself which is washed off when you shower after 4/6 hrs has lapsed thus allowing the development of the DHA in the skin. Dependant on age, skin condition and pre and post tan maintenance a spray tan can last anything between 5-10 days. Lotion to maintain is not only good for helping the longevity of the tan itself but is of course good for the skin...go for a moisturiser impregnated with DHA which will certainly assist in prolonging your tan but also assisting with a more even fade off. Re: Help em out pls I agree with the above poster......as far as pricing, that widely varies from state to state....Here in NC, you could get the Mystic Tan Booth Spray for approx. $25 - $35.....and to hand spray, is approx. $20 - $25 I am not certain about CA, so I would call around (just GOOGLE "Mystic Tan Salons or Air Brush Tanning & put in your city & they should come up, if available) As far as a moisturizer , I personally use one and would highly recommend it, ecspecially if your skin is dry, such as mine. I personally use the Amber Sun Moisturizer , which is also for in between "touch-ups", so that helps maintain my color longer and helps it to stay even. Good Luck to you...... | |

You will only have to get sprayed once, initially and then wait 5-10 days and get sprayed again. The color, as stated above, will start to fade within 5-10 days, so once you get sprayed, the lotion will "help" maintain your color but is not long term and you will see your tan starting to fade. I am on day 6 of my last spray and I probably could go another 2-3 days and be okay, but I spray once every 7 days....you may need another spray at 5 or it could be 10.....but you will definately see the tan is fading and then will know that it is time...... sorry for rambling.....
