Airbrush gun for my hvlp?

I have a maxi mist and i want to be able to do contouring. Is there a airbrush gun I can buy that I can add to it? Can I use my turbo tan compressor and add an airbrush gun? Or do I have to get an entire different set up for contouring?

thanks!

Re: Airbrush gun for my hvlp?

does the nozzle turn on your gun? i can loosen the nozzle on my laser-guide spray gun and just turn the head for contouring. super easy.

we call this double dipping down our neck of the woods....don't think these two are compatible...if your mainly HVLP stick with your exiting machine and get a cheaper air brush for the more detailed accentuating blending work.

Great for turning that middle aged pale skinned bulge into that hunky six pack womanizing beast of a good lookin fella..well if Disney can do it so can you LOL

Re: Airbrush gun for my hvlp?

i got my first airbrush machine 2 years ago for $198.00 ... small compressor with a paasche airbrush ....thankfully i never sold it or threw it out.

i keep it for a back up or detail work...

what was a bonus for me is that when i upgraded to my hvlp machine last year and the vendor took off $100.00 the new machine! :)

i use tcpglobal for all machine/parts purchases...

sorry cant recommend machines down your way as ...well erm..have no friggin clue what you guy's can get hold of..opps sorry ;0))

Would have thought that something like an iwata silver-jet doesn't cost to many bucks and would do the job...this is the machine I use at home to accentuate the size of...mmm well my nose...you know what they say about guys with big noses.....,and after a session with the airbrush I can walk down the boardwalk and attract all the chicks i could ever dream of..well at least the pelicans that all land on my nose LOL .

seriously though there must be heaps of low cost airbrush machines to be had down your neck of the woods ;0)

Re: Airbrush gun for my hvlp?

Lots of compressors hoses and connectors are universal. Chances are you can buy a Stencil Action Airbrush and it will hook right up to your hose for your compressor unit. To be on the safe side call the mfg or place you purchased your machine from and they can tell you if the hose that came with your machine will hook up to a Airbrush Gun.

As far as hooking up a Airbrush Gun to the Maxi-Mist? That will not work. Not possible.

Good luck!
