Rep Power: 0 | Solomist HVLP Hello all! I have been reading this forum for a while now and have really learned alot! I am VERY new to the business I trained under a girl for several months in a larger town before striking out on my own in my very small rural community and have done really well (to my surprise.) I love the flexiblity that this career provides and it is always wonderful to make someone beautiful and feel good about themselves! I have using Breeze from the beginning and so far it is done really well. I have recently added Envytan solutions and it is also getting good reviews! My main question is, I am using the Solomist HVLP machine. I have had great results with it so far, but I am starting to do more business in salons and am just in general looking for a new, better machine. I was wondering if anyone has used the Solomist and if there are any good/ bad reviews or experiences! It never hurts to be well informed, good and bad! Thanks so much for all your help! |

Thats pretty standard with most guns out there today. Of course this will affect your spray pattern and the amount of juice you use for a spray tan . The more that valve is open the more juice you wil spray. The nozzle tip should be able to switch from a verticle pattern to a horizontal pattern by loosening the circle knob on the tip and then turning your tip to the desired pattern. Hope this helps you. LOL...I was wondering if you all could give me some input on where I can mass order all of my products, ie...nose filters, tan extenders, exfoliating cloths, barrier creams, etc. I would love to have a variety to offer. Also, as far as drying my customers, what's best...hair dryer (low heat of course) , box fan or oscalating tower fan? Thank you! :) |

Pressure? Do you even know what HVLP stands for? I think not. Can you tell me what CFM stands for? Can you tell me what the CFM's of the Wagner Fine Spray and the Solomist are? Can you tell me what the PSI is at the TIP of ANY HVLP Spray System is and why it's important depending on the type of fluid being delivered? Can you tell me why turbine motors and hose length effect the delivery quality ? Why are some hoses 6ft, some 13, some 15 and some up to 30? Please educate me. | |
