Rep Power: 0 | TBT Revive Ok, so I know people are always asking about what solutions people like and I feel I have one worth giving my 2 cents on! I just used the TBT Revive 9% with the bronze color guide and I LOVE IT!!!!! First off, it smells really good as soon as you open the bottle, then it goes on really nicely and the bronzer is really BEAUTIFUL! Nice golden brown, really natural looking! Honestly, I've never been this dark naturally, but if I had, this is exactly what I would want it to look like! Dried quickly as well and I didn't feel at all tacky afterward. Granted I've just used it so I'm still waiting to see the fully developed color, but as impressive as this stuff is so far, I can't imagine it being anything short of spectacular! Will post back with my final opinion later, but for my money so far, this is a huge winner! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: TBT Revive I ordered TBT rev 7 and loved the color no smell not sticky. My clients have said the same. I just ordered the 9. I hope its not to dark as there is no 8. Not to switch topics but...... does anyone mix any solutions that are left over? I saw this on another site. Is that a good idea? Ive only been spraying a little while. still not sure about "what I know" If you know what I mean....LOL :) This is my first post. Since there is no training in my area YOU GUYS are training me. Thank you....You all are very generous with your ideas and expertise |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: TBT Revive I don't know that I would suggest it, seeing as how solutions are made up of different things...I heard on another site of a girl who mixed like six 1.5 oz samples together cause she thought they weren't enough to do a whole body and her poor guniea pig ended up all different colors....YIKES! I was scared to try the 9% as well, I'm a type 3 skin type but on the lighter side of it and I was worried it would be too dark for me but it's actually great on me. Now granted, it's probably as dark as I could go and still look natural, but it's beautiful, like I've lived my whole life on a tropical island...LOL. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: TBT Revive I always mix solutions, but not because I have a little left of everything. I custom blend solutions for each client. If the client is really pale and a Type I & Type II I always want a little hue of red to the tan.... makes them look like they have a little sunburn, which is a natural look for Types I & II. I'm also not a huge fan of the color guides/instants tints; as its just a dye on the skin...many of the most awesome solutions out there have strong color guides..(i dont like staining my clients skin) so I infuse with clear solution . I don't suggest doing this if you just started and are a new tech though. Color guides are great visuals for where you are spraying and what you have already covered! |

When I was Airbrushing I loved Evo now that Now i'm using HLVP. so far TBT, Pros, color is nice smell is nice cons too thin too much overspray color does not last long, Evo, nice color, does not last long, too thin does not dry fast enough. Clients getting a rash if resprayed within 7 days, Aviva, Sprays like a dream, thick HLVP solution No overspray color lasts longer than anything I have tried, 7 days! cons, 10% was WAAAY too dark. South seas: sprays nice, could be thicker smell is fabulous. color is a bit too dark for my skintypes I and II. I'm hoping my new order of Aviva in the lighter solution will be the answer, but the stuff ain't cheap. I'd love to find the perfect juice, thick, and nice color. Maybe I should mix some clear with the Aviva?

Rep Power: 0 | Re: TBT Revive Newbie question.... Can I mix a less expensive brand with an expensive one? and another ? I am having issues with the inner elbow. I feel stupid, as I dont know what to call this part of the arm. Its the inner arm at the crease. (other side of elbow)It fades there very quickly. So it looks like a oblong ring. Looks horrible. anyone else have this issue, if you can understand what im saying. hahha Thanks for all the info |

Make sure this arm is extended when you spray inside. If your solution is too sticky and takes too long to dry The client could lose color if bending the arm closed wile still wet. This also applies to under the arm and behind the knees.
