Need help purchasing HVLP

I did airbrush tanning back in 04 with just a regular air compressor and paache gun. Now I am looking into getting a HVLP, specifically the maxi mist. I have seen a lot of good reviews about it, but also heard that it is loud.
So, what kind of HVLP do you guys recommend to get started??
Also, what solutions do you like?
Thanks!!

Maximist is a good choice. Unless you have a compressor that can be boxed all HVLP's are going to be loud but the Maximist is such you can still talk. There is a Whisper that is in a box and it is quiet for a spa but not really good for mobile. We didn't like the solutions that come with the Maximist.

Good idea but look at all the people I would have to share it with(ie eyecandytanning). Besides, they might get upset that I don't like their solutions.

Really? I just tried the turbo tan and maxi mist in the same room and the noise was about the same. Sonoma tan came to my spa and demoed their 5 min turbotan manchine they have and adjustment to make it about 50% less quiter. It also comes with a beautiful titatnium gun..very sweet machine and sprays like a dream for $499.
