Client getting Tattoo

One of my clients is getting a tattoo. What precautions should I take before and after her tattoo (waiting period of spraying, etc.)? I did a search on this but mostly spray-tan tattoo's came up. Thanks! :)

Tatoos are under the skin..But wait till it fully heels with no scabs...Then it ok to tan.

Miami Ink makes a fade stick too. SPF basically plus some special color guard. UV is not rec for tats as they will fade color over time. IF B/W tat, not as big a deal.

Re: Client getting Tattoo

Any issues with me spraying her the day before or couple days before she gets her tattoo? I can't find much about it on the net.

Duh....sorry. I didnt even notice this was sunless! Forget the above. Spray tan , go for it. No worries. As for before a tat, I'm not sure on that one since you are injecting dye into the skin. I wouldn't think it would be an issue but I could see it possibly affect the color outcome.

Re: Client getting Tattoo

No don't tan her before her tatoo like RCKnap3 said about the ink injecting..and it won't be a couple of days for her scare tissues to completely heel unless you want to wrap her tatoo and then spray her down.
