Re: barrier cream Agreed....if good pretan prep (exfoliation and moisturise) and post tan prep is followed there really is no need for a barrier cream to be used even on knees and elbow areas. Sticky feet,a towel ,couch roll or kitchen roll...whichever your bag is...will eliminate solution being drawn onto the soles of the feet. The only time being advising a client to possibly put a heavy moisturiser on the palms of their hands before going to sleep....some clients just love to "touchy touchy" themselves during the night and just after a spray tan its not good on the palms of the hands | |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: barrier cream I use a light moisturizer on top of hands, nails, palms, knees, elbows, entire foot, and unpainted toenails(very important). I just think it makes a more even tan. After spraying, I blow dry client to help dry the moisturizer . I haven't had one complaint of orange hands or feet yet, and yes the solution will go through the moisturizer . |

Rep Power: 18 | Re: barrier cream No barrier cream here, just careful placement of the solution , have your client stand a towel to avoid dark soles, and dont directly spray dry areas, must let the slight overspray gently envlope those areas. Also try using less solution , just a light mist is required... not a full blown hurricane force blast of solution . |
