Rep Power: 0 | Any thoughts on Fuji tan salon systems Hi, I am new and have done some searching on here and the net but I haven't seen anything about these systems but ads. Does anyone own one and what do you think? It is really quiet or is it just hype? What about customer service? I tried calling them but only get voicemail? any other thoughts would be great. I am considering between a few machines. Spays of Rays II, Fuji tan system and the M3/Accuspay 220 QSP. Thank you for any help. Mike. |

The noise specs for the fuji are misleading because they say 56db but they don't tell you at what distance from the m/c this measurement is taken, which is very important. My guess would be about 15 ft away which would make the real manufacture specs around 85 to 90db(if you want to compare real db specs). I'd avoid gun patents because it limits who can help you with gun issues. All HVLP guns are basically the same so you can discuss gun issues with anyone that is using HVLP unless there is a patent involved. As far as Fuji's claims on performance, IMO a systems performance is 95% about the technician. Training, technique, experience and skill is what dictates efficiency and quality. I'm not saying the Fuji is a bad system by any means, it's probably a good m/c, but there is alot of misleading hoopla. In the end you're looking for a quality gun(no plastic)hooked up to a dependable turbine. Easier said than done when your first starting I know. Happy hunting |

Noise from HVLP systems is just no big deal with the right unit. Yes some are crazy loud, but anything less than 70 db is no issue. Two people talking at 3 ft in a normal voice are producing 70db. Anyone who spends $2000.00-$5000.00 for a system is just plain nuts. I had a Rep from SunFX stop by a few weeks ago to demo thier $1500.00 unit. I pulled out my $299.00 unit and blew it away. Sprayed better, made better, he couldnt get out fast enough. |
