Where in SoCal are you? I am originally from the South Bay, and my pop still lives in Fountain Valley. I was out there last month, in the OC, and couldn't find very much in the business of spray tanning . To my amazement, it just hasn't seemed to catch on yet. I think the Mystic Tan industry is really holding back the bed salons from going airbrush (the overhead alone for those machines is astronomical). Obviously if the bed salons have mystic, they have some sort of deals with that company. I'd think the LAST thing Mystic would want is airbrush in any salon they have equipment in. I think VERY few people actually realize what a far superior tan airbrush is as opposed to mystic. I wanted to get sprayed while I was out there, called a few places in Huntington Bch on a Sunday, and it was like pulling teeth to get something set up. I asked my little sisters who still live out there, surfed the net, checked the yellow pages... There just wasn't much. The places I DID get a hold of had to call their people in just to spray. I was amazed more salons didn't have set hours. I also spent a week out on Coronado Island, which is the high end for the SD area, and pretty much saw the same thing.

I did my research and there are about 3 mobile sray tanning and myself, I don't think it has catched on yet and when it does I'm ready for it. Yea airbrush is way better than Mystic Tan, it's more control. Hmmm.....you must of called the Salon I used to work at in Huntington Beach because they use to have to call me in to spray tan someone. I now get a lot of clients out there and in the orange county area. Alot of salon don't have airbrush tanning though. |

I BELIEVE the salon I called was on Beach Blvd, but can't be sure. They had to call their girls in, I know that much.
