Smile mobile business and a "business suite"

does anybody have one? just wondering if you offer an option to your clients if they prefer to come to you. if so, what are your thoughts? and, did you start with both, or add-on??

We do both. Most people come to the salon because we charge more for mobile. Doing party's in people's homes is very popular.

Parties are really becoming a big thing. Good way to do mobile as you aren't traveling just for one person.

hi there! i feel like i know you :) do you have an actual salon (hair, nails, etc..) or are you referring to a "space" you rent JUST for tanning?

Re: mobile business and a "business suite"

We (my family) have a tanning salon with 3 beds 1 stand up, spray tanning , Coffee bar, 1 nail tech. We offer semi perm makeup by Styli Style, Eye candy (semi perm Glitter) and sell Galvanic Spa's by Nu Skin. As well as what is written in my profile. We are in a REALY small town. We are the only tanning salon for about 40 miles and the only good one in almost 60 miles.

Re: mobile business and a "business suite"

I started as a mobile service years ago and am opening an airbrush only tanning studio in about 2 weeks. I got so busy that on my big days (wed & thurs) I am working until 10pm or so doing mobile and wedding parties. It's too taxing working all day and night, and not everyone wants/needs mobile service.

Re: mobile business and a "business suite"

I am interested in starting a mobile airbrush tanning business in my area. I do not have a business license as of yet, just a DBA. I was wondering if I needed any certification for airbrush tanning, and if so do I do this online?. I am currently a registered nurse. I was also wondering about what type of insurance to obtain? Can anyone recommend a good beginner's unit to start out with that is not too expensive?

I have just done a couple parties which involved just spraying and the ladies seem to like them. Just curious, are you doing anything else to keep it fun and exciting?
