Rep Power: 0 | Aviva Users a bit of advice? 10% & 12% on same person? I am using aviva and have 8,10 & 12 levels, have a client that has a dark base from tanning beds but wanted to try sunless AND keep her dark base, a bit of a challenge due to her having fair skin (she's irish red hair white skin). Started her week one with 10% didn't see much change (used a heart sticker on waist area) but did look good and natural, she wanted a bit more week 2 as the natural and the sunless were now fading, i recommended we do a base of 10% again since it worked well but she wanted that DARK like shes used to from the bulbs, and she knew I had 12% so she asked if we could please try that. I did so a bit reluctantly due to her base skin being so fair to start with and explained the skin can only "take so much" before we might get a reaction color wise. 2 days later she stopped by and the body turned out FANTASTIC she loved it and I was very impressed too, but the face turned out a bit redish (not orange but sunburnt almost) looking. I recommended we stick to 12% on the body and try 10% on the face next week, my question is do some of your clients require different levels in different areas (face vs legs & arms etc). Bill :)

I keep on hand 8, 10 and 12% DHA , what I have seen with my clients that they need higher % DHA for the face because they wash their face more and apply so many different products. but yes that is ok, just ask your client to really take care of her skin because 12% DHA can be really harsh especially going towards winter month. I actually like the product, no smell, no sticky feeling, goes on well, color is decent (except strangely on that face i mentioned above) overall liking the 10 and 12% quite a bit, havent found anyone light enough for the 8%, put 10% on wife who is medium skin tone and saw difference but not HUGE difference, so went to second coat and that helped alot. I have tried Totally Tan, Bahama Body, Focus, and Aviva, also have Mystic but haven't sprayed it yet, so far my fav is Aviva, have some breeeze coming to try soon too. My 2 cents... Bill

I did ask if she had gone to the bed again (my first thought was she tanned with bulbs after the sunless) but she said no, ill fade the face a bit more and try a special mix of about 11% for her next application. Bill :)

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Aviva Users a bit of advice? 10% & 12% on same person? I use Aviva Labs, and I have to say this is the best solution I have ever tried. Before going into business I was an avid costumer to spray tanning , I always used Fantasy tan, but it was too sticky, and I felt so dirty afterwards. I was completely suprised when Renae from Aviva Labs came and trained me, the solution was awesome! How many coats do you apply? I always do 2 coats, that is what I was taught from Aviva Labs. My aunt is dark and we tried the 10% on her first and she wanted to be darker, so she came back 2 days later and I did the 12% on her and she loved it, honestly not too dark at all. I also tried the 12% on my Mom, she is dark skinned and it looked awesome on her as well! You could also try the DHA boosters, and or the bronzing drops. Also a little FYI, you can always call Aviva Labs and ask Renae, she is sooooo helpful and more then willing to answer any questions or concerns. Hope this helps, sorry so long! |
