Rep Power: 19 | Re: spraying hands and feet...help You need to feather off at the hands and feet. With the hands you need to have the client curl thier fingers (fingers afar apart as possable) This way you don't get knuckle lines. You don't spray palms. |

Rep Power: 19 | Re: spraying hands and feet...help I would see when the next trade show in your area is, That way you can get hands on training. Call whoever you got your system from and find out what show they will be at. If they aren't going to be in your area, find a show close to you with someone carrying HVLP there. I would be willing to bet they would be willing to train you for the opportunity to earn your solution business. I know I would! If you tell me the basic area you are in, I will see what I can find close to you. |

Re: spraying hands and feet...help barrier cream just on cuticles, sometimes palms, never use the larger gun on teh hands use a smaller airbrush ...if you have to use teh bigger one, i suggest holding another foot away, and spray only one light coat..reccomend they wait at elast an hour to wash the hands so they can absorb some of it. but yes back up , and maybe turn the solution down so less comes out. the body gun puts out so much more solution than the smaller airbrush so consider one of those...I havent had any problems.... hope this helps..

Rep Power: 19 | Re: spraying hands and feet...help I will see what I can find for shows for you. You don't need the airbrush , you really don't. Let go the trigger about 1" before the top of the foot, continue down the foot, any residual solution will spray the top of the foot. If they want more just do it very lightly (farther away and move faster) Do the same with the hands. Get a chunk of cardboard and practice with water in the gun. It will show you perfectly, where your solution is going. It is a great way to fine touch your technique. |

Rep Power: 16 | Re: spraying hands and feet...help That is what I do, I just hit the hands and feet w/ a light feathery strokes from a foot a way. They use to give me so much trouble. You'll get it... now I need to get practicing on my new 'vertical' techniques ;) |

Re: spraying hands and feet...help you hsouldnt have to put barrier cream on the hands(unless the person has SUPER DUPER dry hands, like cracking) but yeah holdign the gun 2ft maybe, allowing teh spray to just fall on the top of hand adn feet..the spray should be a large enough out to just do one swipe adn cover teh entire hand or foot. adn yep go a little faster..... I just spray nails hands and toes....try not pulling the trigger as far too taht will lessen the amount of solution

Rep Power: 0 | Re: spraying hands and feet...help Use the barrier cream. It will allow you to avoid headaches in the future. I also allows you to have a natural looking tan line between the back of the hands and palms aswell as keeps the solution from drying into the cuticle. The easiest way to get the hands coated evenly is to taper off when coming down the arms. There are several ways to taper off, you will find the way that works best for you, either by letting out on the trigger or by increasing the distance from you and the person you are spraying. |
