Rep Power: 0 | Orange Face I sprayed a high school girl the other night & her face turned ORANGE! I sprayed her with the same solution that I haved used on everyone else & NEVER had a problem. I sprayed her at night around 7pm, & the next day I called to see how she liked her tan & that's when she said she must have slept on her hands because her palms were orange, but so was her face. She knew her palms were her fault for sleeping on them, but why would her face turn orange? She had a base from the tanning bed so she wasn't pale or anything. Could the sweat from the palms of her hands had some bad reaction with the solution ? I don't understand how this happened, since the rest of her body was a great color. She said she washed with a body wash & normally washes her face with Noxema. She does take vitamins. Any guesses why this happened? |

Some people are fanatical about thinking they must look orange.... especially young girls from past experiences in spray booths. The only time I've seen someone start to look orange is when you put too much on. It's odd about the palms of her hands, do you think maybe she added some moisturizer with self tanner on it on top of her spray?

Who could possibly sleep on BOTH hands for a long enough time to that much DHA to transfer - in fact, it absorbs pretty dang fast so for it to transfer would be very odd. Even still. We had experiences were people thought they were orange and they come in and every agreed they looked fine.

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Orange Face No, I think she just slept on her hands (I have done this befor) & thats why her palms turned orange. I did go over the next day, & she was scrubbing her face with the noxema, & it looked like all the tan had come off. So I didn't get to see the orange persay itself. I asked my son who has class with this girl & asked what he thought & he said her face looked normal with out tan on it. Do you think I should respray her? Homecomming is Saturday night. |

I also would think over spray if the rest of her body was ok. might be her face cleaner also. |
