How many of you actually spray yourself? If so, any special tips, ideas or techniques?

Ha Ha...everyonce in a while I still think that I can magically tan myself and of course end up laughing or crying at the results. In a pinch you can get your arms and legs done...I've got a couple salons in the area that I have trained the tech's at so luckily I know how they spray and can run into one of them to get it done.

I still laugh at the times I tried to tan myself with my little airbrush back in the day...

Hahaa!! Yeah! Me, too! Sometimes I'll go down thinking, "hey, I'll try this again..." Uh... My legs look pretty good. My face, pretty good and stomach, too... But mastering my arms... still trying in that area.. My boyfriend does pretty good but I know he's not interested in it. Not like I am. (And it's hard to be great at it when you're not interested in it) But he does try. You want to look your best- THAT'S what you're selling! He's not around when I'm spraying someone so of course it's harder for him when he really has never seen it done. I give him the "gun" and I guess I just expect him to know how to use it. I need to be more patient while explaining it to him. :)

My husband and I almost always end up arguing while I try to direct him the whole time. He says it is like spray paintng a car, and never lets up on the trigger... EVER. He use to just not listen to me, go up a leg across the 'ah, hem...pelvic region' and then back down the other leg several times and repeat. I was like 'what are you doing?!' He responded he liked that area 'darker', just making excuses for his mistake I am sure. For every leg spray my 'pelvic region' got it twice! It is so aggravating, but he is getting better. I wish I could spray myself.... tried several times!

This is a good question! I have sprayed myself with the airbrush and it came out great except the back! But, it took a long time, lots of overspray, and in my opinion... it was not worth it, and i still had to get someone to do my back anyways, so why bother!
Sometimes if i just need face, arms, and legs i do myself but its kinda a pain in the @#%!!!
Besides the girls at the shop are always interested in doing stuff like that to me! They say its payback for the Body waxing, not even close in my opinion! :)

LOL!! Poor guys! I think mine thinks he's in a race or something. He starts out slower and does pretty good. But then, yeah, he doesn't let off the trigger either. I'm telling him "just be consitant!"

I do a decent job, but cant do my back. i only spray myself in a pinch though, usually can get my girls to spray me if needed.
