lighting issues with mobile I am ready to pull my hair out! I have tried the clip on lights, the small led lights, the little spot lights that sit on the floor and can be moved in different directions. They only seem to accentuate shadows. I feel like I am spraying in the dark. I can't seem to find the right combination of lighting. My tent is black which I realize is robbing the light, but how does everyone else do it? It seems like most of the portable booths/pop up tents are dark in color, so I can't be the only one having this issue! |
Re: lighting issues with mobile Is there anyone at all out there that may have a suggestion??? |
Re: lighting issues with mobile My wife had the same issue, tried all those things as well. What seems to have worked is two 150w halogen trouble lamps( 12 bucks each at the hardware store ) that sit on the floor behind you to your right and left pointing at the tent at a 45 degree angle. Does that make sense? I know someone uses clipon lights that work (Blondie I think) but I couldn't find any. |
Re: lighting issues with mobile I've seen some of those lights on eBay... Was thinking about getting some. Or some similar.. I,too, have bad lighting issues. I have to keep turning the tent to where I can see the best.. |
Re: lighting issues with mobile I would imagine lighting is one of the biggest issues with mobile. The next is a bad tan. If you cant see it you can tan it. Have you guys tried florescent on a weighted base? Protect the bulbs with those shop plastic covers for the bulbs and mount the fixtures on a weighted pedistial that you can set in the tent... seems like it would work!! Hope this helps!! :) |
Re: lighting issues with mobile put 'em in the shower. wipe down with a baby wipe if it gets anywhere. |
Re: lighting issues with mobile I, too, have thought about the florescent lights. You can also get some that have hooks at the top so you could hang them. They are battery powered (and rechargable). The whole light is about 12 inches long. Wonder if those would be good? |
Re: lighting issues with mobile sounds like a good idea. I was thinking, target has battery fans that are maybe 10" round and you can hang them. Maybe a good thing to have on hand instead of a big ol' plug in fan. Just a thought... |
Re: lighting issues with mobile Hmmm.. That's a good idea, too! Never thought about hanging fans.. |
Re: lighting issues with mobile i could never find any batterie powered ones till this hurricane lol much needed. |
