wireless credit card processor

I've been looking into ccp's for mobile service and found a few options to chose from. Rates, fees and startup costs all vary slightly and I'm having a hard time deciding which service to go with. I've also read to be careful with hidden costs or increasing rates. I would appreciate any feedback( good and bad ) from anybody using these units and which merchant they are using.

thank you

Re: wireless credit card processor

I've been using online processing at propay.com, I have a duplicate carbonless form that has all of my services and products printed up at my local printer. If they want to use a credit card they simply fill out the form with the credit card number and I process it at home. Propay only costs 30 - 100 to start up depending on what level of service you need.

Thanks sonoma, definitely another option. No debit though I'm assuming. BTW, I came across a post about propay and wondering if you can relate to this poor guys experience.(post is from 2004)

Re: wireless credit card processor

I go thru capitalone for my merchant account and they provided a free wireless device to process credit cards. You will need a smart phone.
