Ok so in my previous post, I was worried about fading and solution stuff. So, should I offer a package to help maintain their tan and if so what should it include meaning brands and kinds. I felt if I do this, if their tan fades I will able to somewhat cover myself if they decline to purchase the package. But I do handout after every session a I hand out a suggested maintenance paper with the steps to prolong your tan and products to stay away from. I have not had any complaints but it makes me nervous. I also work out of a pretty small town so my products and prices needs to be reasonable. Any suggestions?

I do that for the same reason hehe....i order Cal Tan Extend Body Wash (they are the ONLY company that makes body wash JUST for sunless...atleast thats what im aware of) and you can get the matching moisturizer . OR designer skin makes a body wash but its more for UV tanning, just a good body wash for moisturizing (matching lotion as well). OR what i have found people LOVE, because i carried it with me (my personal lotion) Kisses (aust. gold) and i actually found a distributer that sales adorable 2oz. bottles! (Heartlandtan.com) and of course one of the moisturizers i mentioned above.

Where do you get your Cal Tan...and does the moisturizer a tan extender or just moisturizer ? Thanks so much for your help. Going to go look it up now!!!

There are quite a few companies out there making body wash for sunless. We offer different products to retail. I think you must have products to retail. Tan extenders, exfoliators,face tanners.....If you know what you are talking about and tell customers different off the shelf products to stay away from ie Dove, they will trust you to sell them the best products to keep them looking good.

Like On Bronzer said there are many products for sunless. Normally you want a gentle exfoliant for a sunless bodywash. If you want something stronger Synergy Tans Filthy Rich is great it's a thermal body wash. Here are the ones we carry for both male and female and Filthy Rich.

I have gotten so much feedback...THANKS!!! What if I buy larger bottles and transfer them into travel size...is that bad? I was going to do a wash, extender, and a spot touch up for face etc. But these bottles are quite expensive and I dont think I could make a profit, selling them at the price I buy them for would be pushing it I think.

I know Norvell Amber Sun has a 5 piece small bottle package that I bought for customers. I'm at home but IIRC, there's a scrub, pre-DHA spray, face bronzer, lotion and body wash.

Woodlands-how much did you purchase it for...I saw it online for around 13 but I just dont know if my clients would spend the money I would need to sell it for to make a profit. Then what if my clients find it online for the price I paid.

I'm at home so I have to admit I don't know :( I'm going to break up a few of the packages and sell the individual bottles too. I figure the scrub/wash/extender will be for those who sunless often and they'll want bigger bottles (also bought). I may give the sample pack out with a 5 visit package or similar.
