Yes, another solution issue!

I have just begun spray tanning. I am currently paying $155.00 - $175.00 per liter for my solution, Sunfx One, Two and Three. The color is very nice, no smell, etc., but I can't make much of a profit because I live in a small town and really have to be careful with what I charge. I can charge about $25 - $30 per spray tan and not scare people away. If I went any higher, I would not be able to even get this thing up and running. So, here lies my dilema. I have read many posts regarding solution and now realize the price for my solutions is incredibly high. I don't know where to go from here in attempting a new solution. I don't mind spending a little more money for good solutions that will produce good results, but I think what I'm paying now is just too much! Can someone please send me in the right direction in choosing another solution. Something good for a beginner that will deliver beautiful results. I am in an area in which a bad result in the beginning will absolutely affect whether or not this takes off. You know, small towns, big talkers!

$175 per liter is robbery. Unless it is spraying liquid gold!
There are some very nice products to be had for under $100 a gallon.
Look into SkinFit, Norvell, Cal Tan Premium. Also do a search on this site, there is tons of Sunless junkies on here swapping info.

We have great results with Abate' Premium. www.johnabatedirect.com
Or call Richard at 866-370-0820, I am sure he could get you a sampling out.

yeah, that is wayyyyyyy to much for a good solution. so far i have had super results with Biddiscombe...love it! And Norvel (the dark one, can't remember the name) it fabulous. And i don't pay anywhere NEAR $175 for either. Biddiscombe has been around for a long time and my favorite is 305. Both smell really nice and are brown,,,never orange. 305 even has a pinkish/brown tint that makes you look as though you just came from the beach. my customers love it. Biddiscombe has a lot to choose from and it gets kind of overwhelming but their peeps are helpful and narrowing it down for u. hope this helps:)

There's a reason why that stuff works well. Paying through the teeth. Keep it as your premium solution if you find it to be better than the rest and get some other stuff for your day to day spray.

Thanks everyone for responding! I did have a chance to sample Breeze products. The color was nice, but wear off was not so good. It was very patchy, splotchy and in sections. I didn't like that and neither did the girls that I sprayed with it. They were friends and family that I did not charge so they understood that I'm "testing"! Thank goodness. Any information on solutions that fade evenly/nicely?

What percentages should I order. I guess I'm not fully understanding the whole % issue. It seems to range from 5% up to about 12%. I seem to have many more lighter complected persons.
Morgan, how did the solution wear off on your clients? Any complaints about that or the smell or stickiness?
