If I was you I'd get a small space like 400sqft and do house calls and a spray booth. Low overhead and high money per person is what you want. If you think you are going to have someone else do all the work don't bother. |

I already have a small nail salon ( a nice, quality place, not those quick shops) and I have a room with my pedi chair and a massage table ( which I can move) but I was still thinking of using a tent so I would not get solution everywhere ( and can also do mobile with it) Whatcha think ? |

I plan on getting in there, promoting the heck out of it and hopefully turning it into a nice little profit center. It's NEVER too late for something IMO. Heck, everywhere I look Versa Spa memberships are selling like crazy and after Mystic, probably lots of places thought it was "too late" to create a better sunless tanning room mousetrap - but it worked :) |

Rep Power: 19 | Re: IS it TOO LATE ? Not too late by all means but just like any business you can't put a sign in the door that says spray tanning and expect them to beat your doors down. Carry business cards everywhere you go, keep yourself spray tanned all the time and tell everyone with a pulse that you are doing it. Get your current clients excited by telling them it is coming soon. Do a special grand opening "free spray tan with a new set of nails" special or 2 for the price of one spray. Promote the crap out of it. When we got started in a tiny town (my graduation call was 52 people) we grossed almost $2000.00 the first week just because we were so excited about having it and told every one who we could about it. Excitement is contagoius. |
