However our standups have wind tunnels instead of a single fan in the top. Very difficult to sweat in 5 minutes and they have a stop button.

Rep Power: 18 | Re: tanning cocktail The purposes for doing a cocktail are many. For the salon owner it's additional revenue. For the customer it typically will give a nice "pop" of color by the combination of cosmetic tanning on top of uv tanning. I don't know how this works if they are only tanning for 5 to 6 minutes though. It would depend on the bed, their skin type, and if they were doing regular uv tanning in addition to the cocktail. With some systems I've heard it helps to dry and set the solution . We have the VersaSpa spray booth and don't have to worry with the drying/setting aspect as the machine blow-dries the customer. We do the uv tan first, then the spray. We price our cocktails by taking the normal cost of a spray tan (here we charge $43.00) and adding a single visit/walk-in at 25% for the uv tan. The customer is given a robe and flip-flops that they use to "travel" between their uv room and the VersaSpa room. Results can truly be amazing. |
